As you want to get the Preparation tips for the CSIR NET UGC Exam so here it is for you:

Candidates must have strong base of basics

On an average, 6 month hard work is required at least. During preparation proportion of the subjects based on the students own strength should taken care of.

Candidates must solve previous year question papers as much as they can

Candidates must use flash cards to learn definitions and formulae

Students can take up any standard available books, except very cheap series

Friend Have a Look , Here I am Providing Some Good CSIR UGC NET Dec Preparation Tips

Exam Schedule :

The exam is Conducted three Separate Sessions by covering three Papers with all having only objective type questions.

All papers will have questions which carry 2 marks each question.


The Exam Should be Conducted in one Session of 3 Hours. The Question paper is Divided in Three Parts.

Part-A (MCQ) 30-Marks
Part-B (MCQ) 70-Marks
Part-C (MCQs) 100-Marks

Number series; letter series; codes; Relationships; classification

Logical Reasoning

Understanding the structure of arguments;
Evaluating and distinguishing deductive and inductive reasoning;
