As you want to get the preparation tips for B.Des NIFT Creative Ability Test so here it is for you:

Candidates must practice and as often as you can.

Stick to the prescribed syllabus of the NIFT entrance exam.

Candidates must stick to the time table which they have made

Detailing adds life to your sketches, so carry as many shades of pencils to add those delicate finishing touches.

While sketching first make a light sketch and later darken the drawing once you are confident about it

Keep your eraser away from you while practicing. It'll help your lines become more bold and confident.

Total number of questions in NIFT 2014 Entrance Exam Syllabus for GAT (B. Des and M. Des) programs is 150 and the duration for same will be 2 hours.

Quantitative Ability:
This section will test students’ quantitative ability. It consists of questions on Addition, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Rate of Interest, Percentage, Work and Task, Distance and Ratio and Proportion.

Communication Ability:
The section will test candidates’ language ability in day to day communication in English. It comprises questions on synonyms, antonyms, words with corresponding meanings, , correct spellings, one word substitutes, singular, plural, idioms and phrases.

English Comprehension:
This will test candidates’ ability to understand situation and basic English language.

Analytical Ability:
The section will test inference and logic of the candidates from the given information.

General Knowledge and Current Affairs:
This will test candidates’ awareness regarding the current affairs and general knowledge.
