Re: Is it possible to appear for IPCC without passing CPT after B.Com?

CPT, IPCC all are the starting stages of CA course. It is a professional course in the field of commerce. It can be pursued after passing 12th. First stage is CPT. If you clear this then you will appear for IPCC and then you have to give CA final.

If you have done B.Com i.e. if you are a graduate then you need not to appear for CPT, you can directly give IPCC.

Syllabus of IPCC:


Group 1
1. Accounting (100 marks)
2. Business Laws, Ethics and Communication (100 marks)
3. Cost Accounting and Financial Management (100 marks)
4. Taxation (100 marks)

Group 2
1. Advanced Accounting (100 marks)
2. Auditing and Assurance (100 marks)
3. Information Technology and Strategic Management(100 marks)
• Section A: Information Technology (50 marks)
• Section B: Strategic Management (50 marks)
