NIFT has a sound placement cell t enable freshers get a good start in their career.
In the past all top national and international apparel companies have recruited from NIFT.
Some of them are- United Colours of Benetton, Provogue, Weekender, Schullers, Urban yoga, Van Huesan, Louis Phillip, Spykar jeans, Lacoste, Gap, eSpree, Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Park Avenue and Parks, Excalibur, Wills Lifestyle, Lifestyle, Shopper's Stop, Pantaloons, Tommy Hilfiger, Triburg, etc.

Last year more than 200 companies visited NIFT for recruitement. Majority of them were Manufacturer-Exporters. Also there were some branded retail chains.
