National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra was established in the year 1963. It is affiliated to AICTE . It is located at Kurukshetra, Haryana, India .

National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra runs undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy course in Engineering, Sciences and Humanities.

Placement Policy:

There will be two statuses of companies, viz. Normal and Dream.

The status will be decided after taking into consideration the package, company profile and job profile.

A student can have either (1 dream job) or (1 normal and then 1 dream job).

Once A student has a dream job, tudent will not be eligible for further placement procedure.

After having a normal job, candidate can go only for the dream job.

A candidate is eligible for normal placement before he gets Pre Placement Offer (in cases of internships).

If a candidate gets PPO, then their PPO will be considered as an on-campus placement of the status decided after taking into consideration the company profile, package and job profile.

A candidate will not be allowed for further placement if the status of his PPO is in “dream” category.

Internship Policy

A candidate can have only single internship through the college.

The selected candidates have to complete their internship. If a candidate leaves internship in between without giving appropriate reason to TPO/PAC member, then disciplinary action will be taken against that student.

The rules applicable for internship would be the same as that for placement procedure.

The final decision will be taken by TPO.
