The Physics Department is one of the important departments of University Of Pune. The Physics department is located on the scenic campus of the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

The Department of Physics started its activity in 1952 and there is no looking back since then also headed by Prof. Anjali Kshirsagar.
