University of Allahabad is a public central university located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India and established on September 23, 1887. It is the fourth oldest University in India.

University of Allahabad Ph.D Program:

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must hold the master's degree in a relevant subject from the university, or any other university or institution recognized by it.

Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidates will be done the basis of their performance in the Combined Research Entrance Test (CRET-2014) conducted by the institute.

Important Dates:
Last date of submission of application form: 3rd week of July
Downloading of admit cards online: Last week of July
Date of AU CRET: 2nd week of August
