Ph.D. Physics is known as Doctor of Philosophy in Physics; it is a Doctorate Physics Course.

Physics is a natural science that involves the study of matter.

Ph.D. Physics Eligibility
M.Phil. Degree or M.Sc. in Physics or Material Science with minimum 60 % marks or equivalent CGPA (55% for SC/ST)

The candidate should have qualified at least one of the following national level tests in Physics:
CSIR/UGC-JRF or CSIR/UGC – LS with rank less than or equal to 200 or
JEST/GATE with rank less than or equal to 300

Selection will be based on direct interviews of the short-listed candidates.
