PGCET of KCET

I want to apply for PGCET exam of Karnataka Examination Authority KEA so can you please tell me the criteria to apply for this exam?

The Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test PGCET exam for admission to the M.E./M.Tech courses in the State of Karnataka.

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech/B.E or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates)

Candidates must be from Karnataka and meet the domicile requirements as specified

It is mandatory that all applicants must have studied in Karnataka for a minimum of seven years from Class I to the qualifying exam.

Candidates with valid GATE scores need not appear for Karnataka PGCET exam

Karnataka PGCET 2016 Exam Pattern:

The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes.

The question paper will be in English

The question paper will be for 100 marks and consist of two parts

Part 1 will have 50 questions of 1 mark each

Part 2 will have 25 questions of 2 marks each
