Petroleum Engineering after Diploma in Electronics

I have completed Diploma in Electronics Engineering and now want to do Degree in Petroleum Engineering so please tell me that I am eligible or not? Also give list of colleges in Maharashtra?

No you are not eligible to do B.tech in petroleum engineering after diploma in electronics. For petroleum engineering candidates should require diploma in relevant branch.

And fewer institutes are offering this engineering course in their campus.
Best option for you to move in B.TECH in electronics branch from a good specialised university.


Petroleum engineering specialized courses are offered that include Reservoir Studies, Gas Hydrates, Environmental Impact of Petroleum Fluid Operation, Characterization of Crude oil, Development of Computer Software, Polymer Synthesis and Characterization, Profile Modification, Development of Novel Fracturing Fluid, Characterization and Separation of Oil-Water Emulsion.

These courses are totally different from your branch. Electronics engineering is the branch which is preferred by most of the young students. Their first choice would be electronics and communication discipline.
