University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (NET) consists of 3 sections, 2 objective sections and 1 descriptive section. Paper I is common for all subject candidates and will mainly consists of questions from: Teaching and Research Aptitude Quantitative Reasoning General Aptitude Elementary basics of Computer Science General Science General Knowledge Current Affairs Paper Marks Number of Question Duration I 100 60 out of which 50 question to be attempted 1¼ Hours (09.30 A.M. to 10.45 A.M.) II 100 50 questions all are compulsory 1¼ Hours (10.45 A.M. to 12.00 NOON) III 150 75 questions all are compulsory 2 1/2 Hours (01.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M.) This is the NET exam management syllabus: Concepts-Types, Characteristics; Motivation; development; Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Government policy for promotion of small and tiny enterprises; Process of business opportunity identification; Detailed business plan preparation; Managing small enterprises; Planning for growth; Sickness in Small Enterprises; Rehabilitation of sick enterprises; Intrapreneurship (orgaqisational entrepreneurship).
