Here I am giving National Institute of Fashion Technolog Master in Fashion Management entrance exam paper Pattern:

NIFT entrance exam is split into 2 phases:

Phase 1:
Written Exam (February) consisting of 2 papers of 100 marks each

GAT (General Ability Test):
150 Objective questions – 2 hours

CAT (Creative Ability Test):
3-4 Questions – 3 hours

The GAT tests each student’s ability in Quantitative Math,
Analytical Reasoning,
English Communication,
English Comprehension and
General Knowledge

The CAT tests each student’s ability in Design Problem Solving,
Visual Sense, Observation & Perception, Environmental Awareness,
Mental Ability and Communication skills through a range of visual and textual questions

Phase 2:
It consists of 2 hour Situation Test in which students are given certain materials and asked to create a 3D model or handicraft.

NIFT Entrance Exam paper

1. Draw a 3‐Dimensional view of drawing room (in one point perspective or two point
perspective) with attractive wall paper (covering the walls), curtains on windows and a
table cloth on a table. Other furniture is not required. Colour the scene.

2. Design any one of the design in detail that you have created for above questions‐ wall
paper, curtains and table cloth.
Mark 10

3. Design front page of a brochure for your college annual day and also badge for all the
volunteers. Both the designs should be colored in approximate 15 cm x 15 cm boxes or
more.

4. Write a promotional article of not more than 100 words on promoting your college
annual day to college students from inside and outside the college.
