The CPT December exam will be held on the 14th December. The applicant who wants to take admission in the CA program must need to clear the CPT entrance test.

The applicants who have minimum of the 30% marks in the each paper in the CPT exam and the applicant have the minimum of the 50% marks aggregate of all section.

Hey as CPT is the basic step to become CA

Passing marks

Subject Maximum Marks Minimum Marks


Fundamentals of Accounting 60 18

Mercantile Laws 40 12

General Economics 50 15

Quantitative Aptitude 50 15

Total 200 100

A candidate is required to secure a minimum of 30 per cent marks in each Section and a minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate in all the four Sections to pass the Common Proficiency Test.
