Participate in IIT Exam after failed in 12th?

I was fail in 12th class exam, i want to appear in IIT exam, can i participate after failed 12th class?

First of all you are not eligible for IIT JEE exam, without passing 12th class, so first of all pass 12th class then participate in IIT JEE exam.
You can apply for IIT Exam but first of all you should pass the 12th Exam well in Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

You appear class 12 as a private student and you still can sit for IIT JEE exam.
