Delhi University Medical/Dental Entrance Test is carried out by the University of Delhi - Faculty of Medical Sciences .Individuals who are permanent residents of Delhi are eligible for DUMET. Aspirants of other states are not permitted Basic Eligibility for DUMET Appliacnts appearing for the DUMET exam must have a pass in class 12 with a strong background in the science discipline. Appliacnts must have also learned English language as one of their topics. Appliacnts must have scored above 50% marks (40% marks for children of the reserved categories). Students who are appearing for this exam must not be below 17 years of age. Reservation of seats for DUMET Exam Out of the total number of vacancies, 373 seats will be set apart for MBBS/BDS Appliacnts BDS - 34 seats will be set aside for MAIDS. MBBS – LHMC will have 98 seats, UCMS will have 128 seats and MAMC will have 147 seats. The Directorate General of Health Services will select applicants for 15% seats. (MBBS/BDS) BDS - 6 seats will be set aside for MAIDS. MBBS – MAMC will have 27 seats, LHMC will have 22 seats and UCMS will have 22 seats. Seats that are to be filled by the nominees of the Government of India: BDS – No seats. MBBS – LHMC will have 30 seats and MAMC will have 6 seats |

University of Delhi - Faculty of Medical Sciences conducts Delhi University Medical/Dental Entrance Test for the individuals want to pursue medical course . Only the residents of Delhi are eligible for DUMET candidate belongs to outside Delhi state and comes under ST category not eligible for this test.. Eligibility criteria for DUMET: Candidates must pass in class 12 examinations with science discipline. Candidates must have study English language as one of their subject. Candidates must have scored above 50% marks in 12th class (40% marks for children of the reserved categories). Age : 17 years of age. Exam Scheme for DUMET : The Delhi University Medical/ Dental Entrance Test will have questions on the following main topics namely: Biology (50 questions), Physics(50 questions), Chemistry(50 questions). There will be objective type of questions based on multiple choice answers . Total Number of Questions: 150 Duration of Exam: 180 Minutes |
