OUAT Entrance
Is there any entrance exam to take admission in the UG program Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology? If yes then please provide the complete details about the entrance exam.

Yes, the OUAT conduct an entrance exam for providing admission in its UG program and in 2012 the exam has already been conducted so you may apply next year for the exam. Here is the structure of the exam: The Entrance exam is an objective test with 200 marks and the duration of the exam is 2 hours and the English language is the medium of the exam. The Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) was established in the year 1962 under the provisions of the Orissa Act, 20 of 1961 and has the triple functions of teaching, research and extension education. The University offers education at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Science Eligibility criteria: Courses - Eligibility:- B.Sc (Ag):- + 2 with PCM or PCB B. Sc Forestry: - + 2 with PCM or PCB B.Sc Horticulture:- + 2 with PCM or PCB B. Sc B.V.Sc & A.H: - + 2 with PCB B. Tech. (Agri. Engg): - + 2 with PCM B.F.Sc (Fisheries):- + 2 with PCB B. Sc (Home Science (Girls & Boys): - + 2 with PCM or PCB Minimum Qualification: - + 2 Science / equivalent with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate including extra optional. (40% marks in case of SC/ST candidates.) Examination pattern : OUAT CET will be objective (multiple choice) test for 200 marks of two hours duration and medium of exam will be English. The subjects of examination and marks. Physics - 66 marks Chemistry - 66 marks Mathematics / Biology - 68 marks Total 200 marks Candidates are to answer Physics, Chemistry and either Mathematics or Biology. |
