Diploma in Civil Engineering is a 3 Years duration course.
After completing Diploma in Civil Engineering you can become:
Engineer
Civil Engineer
Land Surveyor

After diploma you can continue studies, you should now go for b.tech course in civil engg.
After diploma you can get direct admission in second year in any engineering college.

It is generally direct admission or you might have to appear for an exam.
