Passing criteria:
To qualify a CPT exam, the candidate must obtain a minimum of 30% marks in each subject.

Important dates:
CPT application form submission: 4 April to 25 April
CPT 2014 exam date: 22 June

Paper pattern:
It is a 200 marks exam. The paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Negative marking will exist. 25% marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

The CPT or Common Proficiency Test is the first level of Chartered Accountancy examinations in India.
CPT Exam is held twice a year in the month of June and December and the CPT Results are announced in the following month of the Exam.

Applicant can register for CPT after completing Grade 10 and take the exam after completing High School (Grade 12).
