Official GMAT Score

Hi I would like to know the details of the GMAT examination as well as the official score to be submitted for admission for Business Schools?

The Total GMAT score will be visible at the end of the test one will be given an option to cancel the score after it is displayed; one used to be able to cancel scores before seeing them only. One will also receive a printout with the scores and percentiles at the test centre. The AWA score will not be available for atleast 20 days. One can receive the official scores by mail or electronically. The electronic option is faster and more convenient.

How to report or send GMAT score data to schools?
At the beginning of the test, one will be given an option to send the score reports to up to 5 schools. It takes minimum 20 days after the test for the reports to reach the schools. This service is included in the $250 exam fee. One can request to send reports to additional schools, and yes that can be done here.

Note that this will cost one $28 per report/school. Additional reports takes nearly 7 days to reach schools after the date the scores are reportable.
