National Mineral Development Corporation Limited will conduct a Written exam for recruitment to the posts of Executive Trainee (Technical & Administration). Exam pattern The written examination will be multiple choice/objective type. The Total duration of test will be 150 minutes. There will also be an Interview of 25 marks. Subjects Marks Domain Knowledge Test 100 Quantitative Aptitude 25 Verbal Ability 25 Reasoning 25 General Awareness 25 TOTAL 200 Syllabus Quantitative Aptitude : The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, percentage, averages, interest, profit & loss, time & distance, time & work, basic algebraic identities of school algebra, Bar diagram & Pie chart etc. Verbal Ability : English grammar, sentence completion, verbal analogies, word groups, instructions, critical reasoning and verbal deduction. Reasoning Ability : Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning. General Awareness : History, Geography and Socio Economic development of India. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography, Polity of India. |
