MBL is a master in business law is one of the best programs of NLS. NLS has a very good course content indeed it’s a P.G Degree with Quality Education.

The NLS Business Law Review is an initiative by the National Law School of India University to recognise and foster academic research and scholarship in corporate and commercial law.

The mandate of the NLS Business Law Review thus includes company law, securities and capital markets regulation, banking and finance, taxation, foreign investment, competition law, commercial dispute resolution, contract and commercial law, and employment law inter alias.

The concept of a national law institution to act as a pace-setter and a testing ground for bold experiments in legal education came up before the Bar Council of India in the context of the Councils statutory responsibility under the Advocates Act, 1961 for maintaining standards in professional legal education.

About the MBL Program :
The National Law School of India University, intentionally, with a long term vision, has introduced programme of Masters Degree in Business Laws through distance education mode. With attempts towards globalising the Indian economy and consequent integration of business, trade, commerce and industries, national standards, both substantive and procedural laws, are conditioned by international agreements and conventions.

Subjects :

The subjects prescribed for each of the two years of the Degree course shall be as follows:

First Year

Contract Laws
Banking Law
Corporate Law
Industrial Relations Law
Environmental Law

Second Year
Investment Laws
Insurance Laws
Law relating to International Commercial Transactions
