Netaji Subhas Open University is a state open university imparting distance education in eastern India.


About the BEd Program

This Program is recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi. Candidates will be selected on the basis of total marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test, which will be held on June 2011

Duration: Two years and 6 months (six) with Five Semesters

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have at least 50% marks either in the Bachelors Degree* and/or in the Masters Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanities, 4 years Bachelors or 3 years Second Degree Bachelors Program in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible

Entrance Exam :

The Entrance Test will consist of a paper of 100 marks (200 MCQs with 0.50 marks in each). The duration of Test will be of 3 hours (12 noon to 3.00 PM)
Part-A: GK & Teaching Aptitude (Secondary standard) 25 MCQ
Part-B: Logical and Analytical Reasoning 25 MCQ
Education: 25 Marks
Disability Related Awareness: 25 Marks

Fees for the Program :

30000/- (Course Fee as per RCI recommendation)
5000/- (ICT and Student Support)
5000/- (Monitoring and Supervision of Programs)
