National Institute of Technology (NIT) Uttarakhand is one among the ten recently endorsed NITs in 2009 by Government of India under the eleventh five year arrangement. The Institute is completely financed by Government of India under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. In the blink of an eye, NIT Uttarakhand is doing its exercises from its provisional grounds at Government Polytechnic, Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand.
