National Institute of Technology, Srinagar (NITSRI) is a public engineering and research institution, located in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India.

It is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and as such is directly under the control of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).

It has 12 academic departments covering Engineering, Applied Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences programs.

The university includes eight engineering departments, for chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgical and materials engineering, and information technology, as well as four physical sciences departments for physics, chemistry, humanities and maths.
