National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela has bagged the 5th rank among the best universities in India and 1067th rank in the world, according to a new survey conducted by a global research group.

NIT Rourkela has been ranked as the 21st best Engineering College of India in the Edu-Rand Rankings of 2015.

The survey was done jointly by Edu, an Indian company and Rand Corporation, a non-profit American think-tank
