As per my suggestion both institutes are best for students. NIT Kurukshetra is one of the best NIT’s institute provides best education in various fields.

National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, is a public engineering institute located in Kurukshetra. In December 2008, it was accredited with the status of Institute of National Importance.

PEC University of Technology, formerly known as Punjab Engineering College, is an engineering institute located in the city of Chandigarh, India. Founded in 1921, it is one of the oldest educational institutes in India.

PEC Chandigarh is better this have good placement and have good status, but NIT is also good the main advantage in NIT is more govt company’s visit in NIT kurukshetra
