In NIT there is no recruitment for non teaching candidates available. In NIT, Kurukshetra has issued notification for teaching candidates for the recruitment of Senior Students Activity & Sports Officer, Principal Technical Officer, Senior Technical Officer, Assistant Librarian, Assistant Registrar, Technical Officer & Assistant Engineer (Civil).

NIT Kurukshetra Vacancy Details:

Sr Students Activity & Sports Officer
Principal Technical Officer
Senior Technical Officer
Assistant Librarian
Assistant Registrar
Technical Officer
Assistant Engineer (Civil)

Age Limit:

Candidate’s age should be not exceeding 45 years for Sr Students Activity & Sports Officer and Principal Technical Officer.

Age 40 years for Senior Technical Officer
Not exceeding 35 years for Assistant Librarian and Assistant Registrar, Technical Officer
Age should not exceed 36 years for Assistant Engineer (Civil). Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC & PwD candidates as per Government of India norms.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Masters Degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade for Sr Students Activity & Sports Officer, Assistant Librarian, Assistant Registrar


B.E/ B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering with first class or equivalent grade for Principal Technical Officer, Senior Technical Officer


BE/ B.Tech degree in Computer Engineering/ Information Technology or MCA Degree in relevant field with first class or equivalent grade for Technical Officer

B.E/ B.Tech in relevant field from a recognized University or Institute for Assistant Engineer (Civil) and have relevant experience

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on test & interview.

Application Fee:

Application fee for General Section of the Institute on payment of Rs. 200/- by cash or by sending a Crossed Bank Draft of Rs. 250/- drawn in favour of Director, NIT Kurukshetra payable at SBI, NIT Kurukshetra (Code No. 6260).

No fee for SC/ ST & PwD candidates.
