NIT Calicut NRI Admission
I am NRI and want to take admission in NIT Calicut for M.Tech so can you tell me that Is there any different criteria for NRI to take admission in NIT Calicut or not, if difference then tell me the process that what should I have to do for admission in M.Tech?

NIT Calicut is a pioneer institute for higher education in India. It was declared as an Institute of National Importance in 2007. It offers B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA, MBA, M.Plan and Ph.D. courses in various specializations. NIT Calicut also offers M.Tech, MBA and M.Plan courses under Sponsored category. DASA admission is provided by National Institute of Technology Calicut for NRI admission. At National Institute of Technology Calicut there is a limited number of seats (15% seats on supernumerary basis) are available for Foreign Nationals / Persons of Indian origin (PIOs) / Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) / Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) under the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) Scheme of MHRD, Government of India. 1/3rd of the 15% DASA seats are reserved for the Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries (CIWG).
