Professor T.Chandrashekar is the director of National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubneshwar. He became the director on 8th December 2008. Before that he was the Director of National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science & Technology, Trivandrum.

He was born on 1956 in Shimoga. He has done his master’s degree from University of Mysore and PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1982.
