The Netaji Subhas Chandra Open University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) u/s 2(f) vide letter No.F.9-2-97 (CPP-I) dated 26 August, 1998.

The Netaji Subhas Chandra Open University ODL is recognized by Distance Education Council (DEC) vide letter No.fEC/OU/Recog/2008 dated 8 April, 2008 for offering courses in Open & Distance Learning.

The University is recognized by Govt. of West Bengal vide letter No.316-SE(Aptt.) dated 21 March 2000 and 501-SE(A)/10M-51/99 dated 15 May 2000.

The University is provides B.Ed ODL course.

Netaji Subhas Open University is released notification for admission to the B.Ed. Spl.Ed. (M.R/ H.I/ V.I) ODL Programme

Netaji Subhas Open University conducted the entrance test for admission to the B.Ed. Spl.Ed. (M.R/ H.I/ V.I) ODL Programme.
