CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is conducting NET (National Eligibility Test) 2014 on behalf of UGC (University Grants Commission). Here are important dates Submission of online application closes on 15th of November, 2014 Submission of application fee through e-Challan closes on 18th of November, 2014 Download of hard copy of Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admit Card Form closes on 19th of November, 2014 Receipt of hard copy of Application Form and Attendance Slip closes on 25th of November, 2014 Age - Age limit for applicants applying for the position of Junior Research Fellow is 28 years as on 1st of December, 2014 and There is no upper age limit for the aspirants applying for the NET/SET. Qualification- The Applicants should have secured at least 55 per cent marks at Maters degree or equivalent level from a known University / Institution approved by UGC. Applicants who have appeared or will be appearing at the final year examination of Masters Degree are also eligible to apply. Pattern of Examination- NET/SET will comprise of three papers. Objective type questions will be asked in all three papers. Three papers will be divided into two sessions. First session will include Paper-I and Paper-II, each paper will be of 1 ¼ hours. Paper-I will include 60 questions out of which candidates have to attempt any 50 and Paper-II will include 50 compulsory questions. Second session will consist of Paper-III of 75 compulsory questions, which will be of 2 ½ hours.
