UGC NET Syllabus

In UGC NET Paper II:

This will be based on the subject selected by the candidate.
All the questions of Paper II will be compulsory.
It is suggested to thoroughly revise all the topics of Bachelors and Masters syllabus.

Paper 2 will have 100 questions in total.
No restriction to move to and fro among the sections.
All the questions are compulsory to attempt


Mode of Exam
Online i.e. Computer Based Mode
Each candidate will be allocated their own desktop with preinstalled software especially created for the examination.


Nature of Questions
The questions will be objective in nature.
This means, all the questions in UGC NET will be of Multiple Choice type (MCQs), having 4 choices.
Candidates must select the most appropriate answer.
The duration of Paper 2 is 120 minutes (2 hours)
