Tentative Dates Release of the notification regarding the NDA & NA (I) 2016 1st week January 2016 Commencement of the Application procedure for the examination 1st week January 2016 Last date to fill the Online UPSC NDA (I) 2016 Application form last week January 2016 Last date to pay the Examination fee via any means ( credit card, debit card, net banking or Bank challan) last week January 2016 Date of release of the UPSC NDA 2016 Admit card Last week of March 2016 Date of examination 3rd week April 2016 Date of declaration of the NDA (I) Result 2016 September 2016 Call letter for interview and allotment of SSB centers October/November 2016 Declaration of the final Merit list February 2017 Eligibility criteria Nationality: the candidates should necessarily be an Indian and must have a domicile certificate to support the same. However, NDA also allows foreign nationals but the clarification for that can be found from the respective embassies of Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Bhutan and Myanmar. The candidates must have studied physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the higher secondary examination. There is no bar on the minimum percentage qualification Selection procedure The selection procedure mainly involves three selection parameters which are mentioned below: Written Examination conducted by the UPSC Interview conducted by the SSB Medical Review by the Command Hospitals Exam pattern There are 120 questions carrying 300 marks in the Mathematics section and 150 questions carrying 600 marks in the general ability section. The total marks will be 900. The time allotted for the first section would be 150 minutes and for the section, the time allotted would also be 150 minutes. There is provision of negative marking for every negative response. |
