Re: NCC certificate for EAMCET
Yes definitely NCC Certificates will give some extra benefits in the counselling of EAMCET Exam. You are one step ahead from those who don’t have NCC Certificates. NCC NCC (National Cadet Corps) is a youth development organization open to all students at the academic institutions spread all over the country, offering various programs to the young cadets. NCC Certificates There are 3 types of certificates NCC cadets can secure A, B, and C, you will be eligible for 'NCC- A' certificate after you have spent 1-2 years in the Junior division (School level) and attended one training camp. For 'NCC- B' certificate you should have atleast 75% classes in the Sneior Secondary level and one training camp. For 'NCC- C' certificate you must be a NCC- B certificate holder, in your 3rd year at college and should have attended at least one out door camp and one National integration camp or Republic Day parade or any outdoor activity organized by Directorate of the NCC. So 'C' certificate holder have various advantages during any selection process So if you have NCC certificate, it will give you a chance during the EAMCET counseling period in getting a good college for your higher degree course. During the counseling your NCC certificate must be sent to the verification you will be considered for NCC reservation. If you have 'NCC - C' certificate it will fetches you more advantage as it has more priority. Based on all the consideration criteria you will be allotted the seat during the EAMCET counselling Reservation Quotas National Cadet Corps (NCC) : 1% for National Cadet Corps Candidates Physically handicapped (PH) : 3% horizontal reservation in each category (OC/BC/SC/ST) for Visually Handicapped/Hearing Impaired/Orthopaedically Handicapped (each 1%) Children of Armed Personnel (CAP) : 2% for the children of Armed Personnel i.e. Ex-Servicemen, Defence Personnel including the children of Border Security Force (BSF) and the Central Reserve Police (CRPF) residing in Andhra Pradesh for a minimum period of 5 years.
