I am providing you the necessary details which will be useful for you.The National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) was established by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technolgy, Government of India, in November 1997 The mandate of NBRC is pursuing basic research to understand brain function in health and disease, generating trained human resource with capability to carry out inter-disciplinary research in neuroscience, promoting neuroscience in India through networking among institutions across the country.

Essential Qualification for JRF :
M.Sc. in any branch of Life Science, with more than 60%.
Experienced in R&D Laboratory for at least 1/2 years.
Experience with handling mammalian cell culture, basic molecular biology assays and experimentation is mandatory for project.

Desirable requirements For JRF:
Experience western blotting, PCR, Microscopy, handling and experimentation with and knowledge of primer designing, will be considered an added qualification.
Paygrade: approx rs 16000 per month.
