As you want to do job in IIT Gandhinagar so here I am providing you the necessary details below. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: Contender must have an earned doctoral degree in the appropriate area and must have an excellent academic record and a verified prospective for excellence in research. In addition, as per Government of India standard they must have a first class or equivalent (in terms of Grades etc.) at the preceding degree and fulfill the skill necessities declared below. EXPERIENCE: Professor: 10 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent. Associate: 6 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least three Professor years should be at: the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent. Assistant 3 years teaching/research/industrial experience post-PhD. Professor: Assistant For a fresh Ph.D. the position will be on contract basis for first three Professor years, after the completion of which it can be regularized. (On Contract): SCALE OF PAY: Professor: Minimum Pay of Rs.48000 in PB4 (Rs.37400 - 67000) plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10500 Associate Professor: Minimum Pay of Rs.42800 in PB4 (Rs.37400 - 67000) plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9500 Assistant Professor: Minimum Pay of Rs.30000 in PB3 (Rs.15600 - 39100) plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 8000 Assistant Professor: Minimum Pay of Rs.20140 in PB3 (Rs.15600 - 39100) (on Contract) plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6000 Allowances as admissible to Central Government employees. As of June 2014, gross monthly emoluments including AGP, DA, TA and HRA work out to Rs.135100/-, Rs.121460 Rs.90000/- andRs.63908/- at the entry levels of these scales respectively. REMARKS: 1. Entrant should have an excellent academic record, good communication skills, a promise to high quality undergraduate and post-graduate education and the prospective for resourceful research. 2. Simple eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being called for interview. 3. Depending upon the qualifications and experience, higher salary may be offered in deserving cases. 4. Candidates called for interview will be reimbursed travel expenses from the place of their residence in India and back as per Government of India norms. 5. Additional fringe benefits, such as LTC, medical re-imbursement, education allowance for children, contribution towards New Pension Scheme (NPS), re-imbursement of telephone bills, research initiation grant, financial support towards national and international conferences etc. shall be permitted as per the Institute norms. 6. Persons employed in Government/Semi-Government Organization or Educational Institutions in India must apply through proper channel. 7. The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all available positions. 8. The requirements of minimum qualification and/or experience may be relaxed in the case of nominee with outstanding credentials. 9. No correspondence will be entertained from candidates regarding postal delays, conduct & result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview. |
