The National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. and Affiliates (NBCC) was founded in 1982, it is a not-for-profit, independent certification organization.

NBCC Approved Continuing Education Providers (ACEPs) and it offers online continuing education programs for National Certified Counselors (NCCs) and other mental health professionals.

Continuing Education (CE) Program allows to keep applicant certification(s) current by completing activities that will earn their CEUs toward their certification renewal.
