The National School of Drama is one of the foremost theatre training institutions in the world and the only one of its kind in India. It was set up by the Sangeet Natak Akademi as one of its constituent units in 1959. In 1975, About the Admission test : National School of Drama Admission Test acronym as NSD Admission Test is conducted by the institute to provide admission Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification Aspiring candidate should have done graduation in any subject from a recognized university in India and abroad. Participation in at least 6 theatre productions. Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
