Objectives Understand the history of evolution of social work profession, both in India and the west. Gain information about contemporary ideologies of social work and social change. Develop skills in ethical decision-making at macro and micro levels. Understand the values of social work and consciously apply those in practice. Develop insights into the origin and development of ideologies/approaches to social change. Develop skills to understand contemporary reality in its historical context.
