The Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISc) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) conduct the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) for admission to integrated PhD degree programs at IISc Bangalore and M.Sc (Two years), Joint M.Sc-PhD, M.Sc-Ph.D dual degree, M.Sc-M.Tech, M.Sc-M.S (Research)/Ph.D dual degree and other post-bachelor’s degree programs at IITs.

Eligibility for IIT JAM 2015 -

For IISc Bangalore-

Degree with first division for general/ OBC candidate and 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST and PwD category candidates in the qualifying degree.

JAM 2015 Important Dates -

Commencement of Online Registration and Application Process: 03rd Sept 2014

Last Date for Payment of Fee through Challan-
30th Sept 2014

Closure of Online Application Procedure:
09th October 2014

JAM 2015 Examination:
08th February 2015

Announcement of JAM 2015 Results:
19th March 2015

JAM 2015 Exam Pattern-

Exam has seven test papers out of which a candidate can appear for either one or a maximum of two test papers

Papers In JAM 2015 -

1) Biological Sciences (BL)
2) Biotechnology (BT)
3) Chemistry (CY)
4) Geology (GG)
5) Mathematics (MA)
6) Mathematical Statistics (MS)
7) Physics (PH)
Each of these papers would be of three hours duration

JAM 2015 Application Fee -

Fee for ONE Test paper

i) Female candidates (all categories): Rs.750/-.
ii) Male & Others candidates (General /OBC): Rs.1500/-. iii) Male candidates (SC/ST/PD): Rs.750/- Fee for

TWO Test Papers-
