Lecturer after M.Sc. in Statistics
Hi I have completed M.Sc. in Statistics now can I become lecturer for this what can I do?

Ok, you have completed M.Sc. in Statistics now you want to become lecturer so for this you have to clear NET exam. It is conducted by UGC twice every year in the month of June and December. NET exam eligibility- Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from recognised University by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test. OBC / SC / ST / PWD category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test. Final year student can also apply The Ph.D. degree holders shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks for appearing in NET. Important Dates - Online Form Submission 15th October, 2014 to 15th November, 2014 Last date for Applying Online & generation of filled Bank Challan for Fee. 15th November, 2014 Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan, at any branch of (SYNDICATE/CANARA/ICICI BANK) 18th November, 2014 Last date of taking printout of Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admit Card from website 19th November, 2014 Last date for receiving the printout of online Application Form (one copy) and Attendance Slip (one copy) at the respective Coordinating Institution opted by the candidate (with fee receipt & category certificate(s) 25th November, 2014 Application fee- For General candidates, the examination fee is Rs.450/-; for Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer, as per the Central list of OBC available on website: National Commission for Backward Classes ), the fee is Rs. 225/- and for SC/ST/PWD candidates, it is Rs. 110/-. Central Board of Secondary Education conducts UGC NET exam for determining the eligibility for Indian nationals as Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian universities and colleges. Eligibility Conditions : Junior Research Fellowship: The age limit for JRF is 28 years of age. Lectureship: There is no upper age limit for applying for lectureship eligibility. Applicants must have completed Masters Degree from a recognised Universities with 55% marks in Arts, Computer Science & Applications, Social Sciences, Electronic Science etc. Applicants are advised to appear in the subject of their post-graduation only.
