Hello, here I am providing you the details of the MS in physics course offered as no MSc course is available at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research as under: M.S. (Engg) in Materials Science Chemistry and Physics of Materials Unit offers M.S. (Engg) program in Materials Science. Specialization in Nanotechnology is available. Eligibility for this program is M.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics or B.E./B.Tech. in relevant disciplines such as Chemical Engg./Polymers/Electrical/etc. Selection: The selection for this program is further based on an interview conducted at JNCASR, Bangalore during May/June every year and the program commences in August. Duration: The duration of the course is two years. Eligibility: Master's degree in a relevant discipline with first class or equivalent. Research Areas: Synthesis, structural, electrical, and magnetic properties of nanomaterials, cluster beams, interfaces, colossal magnetoresistive oxides, thin films, gas sensors, and novel mesoporous materials. Molecular electronics using conducting polymers, organic electronic devices, biophotonics, optical spectroscopy, materials under high pressure. Molecular simulations of green solvents, materials, and protein solutions.
