Hello sir, I am Atmaram. I am from Ratnagiri. I want you to help me by giving me some information about the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) exam for recruitment of Assistant Civil Engineer in Water Resource Department of Maharashtra.

exam for recruitment of Assistant Civil Engineer in Water Resource
Department of Maharashtra, I am giving you information about it, check
below for the details

Engineering Services in Maharashtra is broadly classified into two categories
namely
Maharashtra Engineering Services, Gr-A
Maharashtra Engineering Services, Gr-B

Aspirants aged between 19 and 33 years of age with degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized university are eligible to apply for engineering services examination in Maharashtra 2015.

Maharashtra Engineering Services Selection:-
Selection of Assistant Engineers in Maharashtra Engineering Services is based on written test conducted by the Maharashtra Public Services Commission (MPSC). Engineering aspirants are short listed for interview based on performance in the written test.

Maharashtra Engineering Services Exam Pattern:- Maharashtra Engineering Services shall consist of two examinations namely

a) Maharashtra Engineering Services Prelim Exam
b) Maharashtra Engineering Services Main Exam

The Maharashtra Engineering Services Prelim Exam shall consist of one paper of 100 marks (for both Group A and Group B) to be completed in a time of two hours.

Maharashtra Engineering Services Main Exam 2015 shall consist of two papers.
PAPER 01: Paper 01 is compulsory and consists of questions in Marathi, English, General Studies I and General Studies II.
PAPER 02: Paper 02 will consist of questions from Civil Engineering course.

Eligibility for Maharashtra Engineering Services
Age: Aspirants aged between 19 and 33 years of age are eligible to apply.
Upper Age Limit Relaxation: as per government rules.
Educational Qualification: Civil Engineering Degree from recognized university or its equivalent.
Essential: Knowledge of Marathi.
