I am thinking of taking MPSC Deputy Education Officer Entrance Examination. So please give me the syllabus, eligibility and other details about the exam. Maharashtra Public Service Commission conducts Deputy Education Officer Entrance Examination mostly in the month of February every year. The selection procedure for the post is completed in following three steps: Preliminary exam Mains exam Interview Pattern: The paper of the screening Test will have objective type multiple-choice 150 questions worth of 150 marks. The duration of the exam will be one and half hour. Medium of the paper will be Marathi language only. The Syllabus for the test will be as follows (1) Matters taught in the syllabus of the B.ED. Degree course.(40 marks) (2) Matter connected with teaching at Secondary School and inspection of Schools.(40 marks) (3) General Studies :- History of modern India( Special reference to Maharashtra) Geography of India( Special reference to Maharashtra) Indian political system-structure, powers & functions pertaining to administration of state and Local Self-Government (Rural and urban), Indian Economy, General Science, Current events of national and international importance.(50 marks) (4) Questions to assess the intelligence of the candidates. (20 marks) The MPSC has not issued vacancy notice for the exam yet. Candidates have to do registration once for applying online.
