Deputy Field officer DFO Exam details are as follows:

Qualification:
The applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree from a Recognized University/ Institution.

Age Limit: 30 Years

Paper pattern:
The examination is conducted in three tiers i.e. Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3.

Tier 1: General Studies (50 Marks), General Intelligence, Reasoning Ability (50 Marks), General English (50 Marks) and Numerical Aptitude (50 Marks).

Tier 2 for DFO (Tele): Paper 1: General English (50 Marks) and General Awareness (50 Marks) Paper 2: Physics, Mathematics OR Electronics/ Telecommunications/ Radio Engineering OR Computer Science/ Computer Applications. Total Marks 100.

Tier 2 for DFO (GD): Paper 1: English Language (200 Marks) Paper 2: Quantitative Abilities (50 Marks), General Awareness (50 Marks)

Exam Duration: Three/ Two Hours

Tier 3: Personal Interview (60 Marks)

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted Deputy Field Officer recruitment exam time to time , recently it has no any notification related to this exam :

Eligibility criteria :
Degree in Science of a recognised University with Physics and Mathematics OR Diploma (3 year duration) in Telecommunication / Radio Engineering/ Electronics/ Electronics and Telecommunication from a recognised Institute Board OR Batchelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications or equivalent Diploma of a recognised Institute/ Board or Certificate or Proficiency Class-II examination which is conducted by the Ministry.

Age : 20 to 28 years .
No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC.
However, Ex-Serviecman / Central Govt. civilian employees will get the benefit of age-relaxations as prescribed in the the detailed advertisement.
