Following is eligibility and seat criteria for MERI Entrance exam:

Eligibility:
Candidates must have passout in 12 standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

Minimum age: 25 Year, for SC/ST candidate minimum age is 27 years.

Seats:
185 MERI Seats are available in T.S.Chanakya, Navi Mumbai, Mumbai Campus.

123 MERI Seats are available in MERI, Kolkata, kolkata Campus.

46 MERI Seats are available in MERI - Mumbai, Mumbai Campus.

15% are reserved for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates & 27% are reserved for OBC candidates belonging to non – creamy layer.

40 MERI Seats are available in NMA-Chennai, Chennai Campus.

40 MERI Seats are available in Visakhapatnam Campus.

Out of these 10 MERI Seats are reserved for foreign nationals.

Exam dates: Second Week of April (Tantative)
Paper 1 : 09.00 to 12.00 hrs ( IST )
Paper 2 : 14.00 to 17.00 hrs ( IST )

For MERI Kolkata exam candidates want to require at least 60% minimum marks in SSE examination.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

Those are appearing in MERI kolkata if they are belonging to General & OBC categories must secure at least 60% marks

SC& ST candidates must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in the 10+2 Examination.

There is no Application Process for MERI Kolkata. Candidates have to appear in IMU CET and they will be short listed on the basis of the IMU CET Counselling.
