Anna University was established back in the year of 1978 and it is a technical university in Tamil Nadu, India. The main university campus in located in Guindy, Chennai. It was named after former C. N. Annadurai, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu

As on 25 June 2015 the dates for the admission in ME have been passed as the admission can be taken only through the entrance exam of TANCET. So here for your reference I am giving you the details of TANCET 2015 which can be helpful for the year of 2016:

TANCET 2015 Eligibility Criteria:
For M. Tech/M.E
Candidates must have passed any one of the following with an aggregate of 50% (45% in case of SC/ST candidates):
B. Tech/B.E in the respective disciple
MCA (3 years) after 10+2+3 years bachelor’s degree.
MCA Lateral Entry (2 years) after 10+2+3 years degree in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science / InformationTechnology
Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts,
M.Sc. (5 years) Integrated Degree Programme.
B.Sc. 3 years (Computer Science / Information Technology) and M.Sc. 2 years (Computer Science /Information Technology
B.Pharm. / B.Sc (Agri. / Forestry / Horticulture / Fishery)

TANCET 2015 Exam Pattern:
The question paper comprises of three parts with Part 1 & 2 being compulsory while Part 3 will be on the respective chosen discipline/subject

Compulsory:
Part 1: 30 questions with 1 mark for each correct answer
Part 2: 30 questions with 1 mark for each correct answer

Discipline Wise:
Part 3: Candidates must choose a choice of a section out of 14 based on area of specialization and answer 40 Questions with 1 mark for each correct answer
Negative marking of 1/4 for every wrong answer

TANCET 2015 Application Fees:
Rs 500 (Rs 250 for SC/SCA/ST candidates)

TANCET 2015 Application Procedure:
1. In Person:
Candidates can get the application form in person from the specified Co-ordinating Centres.

They must submit a copy of 10th Std. mark sheet and 12th Std. mark sheet (or 3 years Diploma Certificate)

They must also pay the TANCET 2015 Application Fees in c ash or Demand Draft to get a hall ticket.

2. Registration Through Internet:
Candidates must register and log into the website

They must enter all details and pay by the Application Fees by DD

They must send a copy of the filled in TANCET 2015 Online Application form along with DD and requisite certificate copies and photographs to
