The Youth Festivals in Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak are organized with the objective of bringing together the youth from different colleges/institutions of the state.

The festivals provide opportunities to develop the traits of mutual understanding, co-operation, brotherhood and patriotism as well as an outlet for their creative activities.

To achieve these objectives, Students Welfare office organizes Zonal and Inter Zonal Youth Festivals. All the Colleges/Institutes, affiliated to and maintained by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, which are divided into 6 zones namely Bhiwani, Gurgaon, Mohindergarh, Rohtak, Sonipat, and Technical Zones

The Zonal Youth Festivals are organized at Zonal level, which are followed by the Inter-Zonal Youth Festival.

The outstanding artists are selected during the Inter Zonal Youth Festival by a Selection Committee for further participation in the Inter-University North Zone and then at the National level youth festivals organized by the Association of Indian Universities.

The position holders are awarded with Merit Certificate Special prizes, Colours, Blazers and Cultural Stipends.
