MCA eligible for Teaching in CSE Department of Engineering College

Will you please tell me whether MCA Candidate is eligible for teaching job in CSE Department of Engineering College??

According to norms of UGC and AICTE, MCA Candidates are nor eligible for teaching job in CSE Department of Engineering College

As per UGC and AICTE's regulations

To teach for Engineering courses (B.E/B.Tech) - one must have M.Tech
To teach for M.E/M.Tech -- one must have M.Tech + Ph.D
To teach for MCA/M.Sc(CS)/M.Sc(IT) -- one must have MCA + M.Phil + Ph.D / MCA+Ph.D
To teach for B.Sc(CS)/B.C.A/B.Sc(IT) -- one must have MCA + M.Phil

So to teach for engineering disciplines you need engineering degree. But many private institutions don’t follow these rules strictly
