Re: MBA Vs JD Degree
As per your request here I am providing you the details of both the degrees: About JD Degree: The Juris Doctor (JD) degree is usually required to practice law in the United States. It is considered the first degree in law. The JD degree is offered by American Bar Association (ABA)-approved law schools, by law schools that are not ABA-approved, and by many Canadian law schools. A bachelor's degree is required for admission into a JD program. The LSAT is an integral part of the law school admission process in the United States, Canada, and a growing number of other countries. The JD program is generally a three-year, full-time academic program. All US states accept graduation from an ABA-approved law school as meeting that state's education requirement for eligibility to sit for the bar examination. Average Salary: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that 581,920 lawyers were practicing nationwide as of May 2012. These lawyers earned an average annual wage of $130,880, equal to $62.93 an hour -- assuming a 40-hour workweek About MBA degree: The master of business administration (MBA or M.B.A.) is a master's degree in business administration (management). The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an internationally-recognized degree designed to develop the skills required for careers in business and management. $95,000 Average Overall Salaries for MBA Graduates. |
